Kicking off with the introduction of the ‘It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere’ happy hour and a world-record breaking celebration for ‘World Paloma Day,’ Fairmont is continuing its tradition of crafting memorable moments and connecting guests to extraordinary local and global experiences.

Fairmont’s new Global Bar Program aims to elevate the guest experience through exceptional hospitality, expert craftsmanship, and storytelling. It starts with a series of seasonal activations, beginning with the ‘It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere’ happy hour, followed by a cross-continental celebration of the Paloma cocktail in partnership with PATRÓN Tequila.

‘It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere’ Happy Hour
Fairmont’s new ‘It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere’ happy hour invites guests to relax and connect with a complimentary welcome drink from 5 p.m. at select Fairmont bars around the world. This initiative celebrates the transition from day to evening, giving guests the chance to unwind and socialize over a refreshing beverage. Participating properties include The Savoy, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, Fairmont Century Plaza, Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, Fairmont Singapore, and Fairmont La Hacienda Costa Del Sol. The program will feature a range of alcoholic, low-ABV, and alcohol-free drink options, with seasonal beverage partners such as Fentimans, London Essence, and Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spirits.

World Paloma Day Celebration
Fairmont’s second initiative, in partnership with PATRÓN Tequila, will bring together six Fairmont properties for 24 hours of Paloma celebrations on May 22, 2025, marking the first-ever record-breaking ‘World Paloma Day.’ The Paloma, a refreshing cocktail made from PATRÓN Tequila, lime, salt, and pink grapefruit soda, has become a globally beloved drink. The 24-hour celebration will span multiple continents, featuring a range of vibrant events in unique settings.

The celebration kicks off at Fairmont The Palm with a Paloma Pool Party, followed by festivities at Fairmont Golden Prague’s terrace and rooftop, Fairmont Singapore’s Anti:Dote bar, and The Savoy’s Beaufort Bar in London. The Paloma Party then travels across the Atlantic to Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and culminates at Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico with a Paloma Beach Party.

For those unable to attend the live celebrations, Fairmont properties will offer a variety of bespoke and regional Paloma cocktails throughout the month of May. Guests can enjoy the signature PATRÓN Paloma, made with PATRÓN Reposado tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, agave syrup, fresh grapefruit juice, sparkling water, and a grapefruit slice garnish with a salt rim.
