2012-10-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Once again this year, airberlin and the travel company DERPART are offering a very special climax to the New Year’s celebrations, bringing in 2013 with their hour-long flight over Cologne. The Boeing 737-700 will circle over Cologne several times, providing passengers with a spectacular view of the New Year’s Eve firework display, the city centre and Cologne Cathedral. On the stroke of midnight the passengers will all welcome in the New Year with a glass of champagne. The captain and co-pilot will, of course, be celebrating with a glass of orange juice.
Flight number AB1213 will take off from Cologne/Bonn Airport at 23:30 on 31st December 2012 and will then land back at the same airport at 00:30 on New Year’s Day. Tickets are available from 99 euros at www.derpart24.de/silvesterrundflug.
