EVA Air: Infinity MileageLands members to enjoy extended membership tier, electronic upgrade certificates and Award Miles validity

Luzhu District, Taiwan, 2020-May-02 — /Travel PR News/ — EVA Air is aware of that this pandemic has affected members’ traveling deeply, to express our thankfulness to members’ long-term support and loyalty, and to assure our members can enjoy every benefits and privileges of their current card status when it is time to fly again, Infinity MileageLands has taken measures to extend membership tier, electronic upgrade certificates and Award Miles validity for our members in February and March 2020.

Recently, we have implemented new methods of extension as follows:

Card Tier Extension

1. For Diamond Card, Gold Card, Silver Card member whose card tier expiry month falls between February 2020 and January 2021 extends for twelve months. If your card tier has ever been extended in February or March 2020 previously, the new validity of card tier after twelve-month extension is based on the original membership tier expiry month before any adjustments.

2. During the extended period, if a member takes any EVA Air flights in his/her birth month, extra bonus miles for birth month will still be credited in the next month.

Electronic Upgrade Certificate Extension

For the electronic upgrade certificates which expire between February 2020 and January 2021, the validity periods are extended for 12 months from the original expiry dates. If your electronic upgrade certificate validity has ever been adjusted in February or March 2020 previously, the calculation of twelve-month extension is counted from your original validity before any adjustments.

Award Miles Extension

Members whose Award Miles original expiry month is in February 2020, March 2020, April 2020 and May 2020 extends to June 2020 or July 2020.

To name it more specifically, Award Miles set to expire in February 2020 and April 2020 extends to June 2020 whilst those set to expire in March 2020 and May 2020 extends to July 2020.
