Airline rolls out the red carpet to welcome Real Madrid onboard specially chartered Boeing 777, ahead of the Spanish Super Cup tournament

Emirates will continue as the Official Main Sponsor until 2026. The specially branded Boeing 777 will fly to various international destinations, and Emirates has also completed a multi-billion dollar retrofit of its fleet, including new Premium Economy cabins.

The special aircraft arrived in Madrid yesterday, transporting Real Madrid’s first-team players to Jeddah for the Spanish Super Cup, which will be held from January 8 to 12, 2025.
Emirates, which has partnered with Real Madrid since 2011 and became the club’s jersey sponsor in 2013, will continue as the Official Main Sponsor until 2026, marking the longest jersey sponsorship in La Liga history. The eye-catching decal on the aircraft prominently features top Real Madrid players, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vazquez, and Federico Valverde.
This initiative builds on Emirates’ decade-long relationship with the club, offering fans an opportunity to connect with their football heroes. The specially branded Boeing 777 will fly to various international destinations such as Athens, Vienna, Miami, Seattle, and Kuwait, allowing fans to spot the aircraft during its travels.
Emirates, which began operations to Madrid in 2010, currently offers a double-daily service to the city using a combination of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. As part of its multi-billion dollar retrofit program, Emirates has revamped 40 aircraft, including 27 A380s and 13 Boeing 777s, with new interiors, including the highly anticipated Premium Economy cabin. The airline has also recently added its first A350 to its growing fleet.
