Emirates Palace, American Community School Abu Dhabi and the Make-A-Wish UAE come together to make this festive season much merrier for kids in need
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2018-Dec-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates Palace knows that any hotel is only as grand as its community, so every year it works together with its community to make Abu Dhabi an even better place to live and visit. This year via its Golden Hearts campaign, Emirates Palace was able to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses and also to allow local school children to support the initiative.
This year, Emirates Palace intends to be a community leader in both charitable giving and community engagement and a new spin on an old partnership has been forged with the American Community School Abu Dhabi (ACS) to help local school children volunteer and a Bake Sale was born with the goal of granting even more holiday wishes for children in the UAE with life-threatening illnesses.
Emirates Palace’s Executive Team of Chefs worked with ACS students and two Make-A-Wish kids to decorate festive-themed cookies to be sold at a bake sale managed by the student led group.
On the Hotel’s partnership with ACS, Emirates Palace General Manager Martin Cramer says, “Emirates Palace is pleased to welcome ACS and the Make-A-Wish UAE kids into our Pastry Kitchen. With the school group, we will work together to make this festive season much merrier for kids in need and bring smiles to more Wish kids’ faces.”
