Emirates marks UAE’s 49th National Day

DUBAI, UAE, 2020-Dec-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Just as the UAE celebrates its 49th National Day, flags in all shapes and sizes were waved to mark the occasion across six continents by Emirates ground operations employees.

Emirates airport operations employees at the hub also joined in the celebrations, holding their flags and making a formation in the number ‘49’ in front of an aircraft at Dubai International Airport.

With patriotic shades of red, black, green and white, the shows of national pride by Emirates employees were inspired by the achievements of the UAE, as well as its significant place on the world stage as a transport, tourism and trade hub.

Emirates currently flies to 99 destinations, and the airline continues to safely and gradually restore its global network to pre-pandemic levels. At every step of the journey, Emirates employees all over the world have stepped up to prioritise the care, health and safety of customers and colleagues who have returned to the skies.

Please find a selection of images from across the Emirates network of employees celebrating the 49th UAE National Day in their own special way.
