Emirates Group Promotes Employee Health with Free Flights for Dubai Fitness Challenge Participants

(IN SHORT) The Emirates Group is actively supporting the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) by encouraging its employees to participate in 30 minutes of daily exercise for 30 days. Since 2017, more than 51,000 employees have taken part in the challenge. This year, those who complete the challenge will receive a free flight ticket. The initiative is part of the Group’s broader wellness program, “Sehaty,” which promotes health through various activities and campaigns year-round.

(PRESS RELEASE) Dubai, UAE, 2024-Oct-23 — /Travel PR News/ — The Emirates Group continues its commitment to promoting health and wellbeing among its workforce by encouraging participation in the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC). Since 2017, more than 51,000 Emirates Group employees have participated in the challenge, clocking millions of minutes in physical activity. This year, the Group is once again motivating its employees to complete 30 minutes of exercise daily for 30 days, offering a free flight ticket to all eligible participants who successfully meet the challenge.

Employees can take advantage of free fitness classes across Dubai, participate in major sporting events like the Dubai Run and Dubai Ride, and enjoy discounts at gyms and health clubs. The initiative is part of Emirates Group’s broader commitment to employee wellness, which includes the year-round “Sehaty” program, offering physical and mental health awareness campaigns, preventative screenings, and other wellness activities.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, emphasized the importance of employee wellness, stating: “We prioritize the health and wellbeing of our workforce as a valuable investment, supporting a culture of health that enhances our brand, recruitment, and retention efforts.”
