Dubai, UAE, 2021-Nov-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates Group employees came together this morning to proudly participate in the hoisting of the UAE’s flag, celebrating the country’s symbol of unity, and illustrious 50 year inspirational journey as a nation.
The flag was raised by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, together with attending Emirates Group senior executives and employees at Emirates Group Headquarters.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed said: “This UAE Flag Day, which coincides with our 50th anniversary, serves as a constant reminder of what makes this nation great. We honour all that our flag represents, renew our commitment to the UAE’s greater purpose as a nation, and reflect on our nation’s achievements, as we ambitiously look ahead to the next 50 years with pride and determination to create a better future for the next generations.”
UAE Flag Day is observed annually to mark His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE in 2004, and serves as an opportunity to celebrate the country’s rich journey and the forward-looking vision of its leadership.
