(PRESS RELEASE) Dubai, UAE, 2024-Sep-4 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates has launched a new A380 aircraft livery to raise awareness about the Emirates Airline Foundation’s humanitarian work, which has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children around the world. The vibrant livery, adorned with pastel stars and a bold message, “Help to support children in need,” symbolizes the foundation’s commitment to improving the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable children globally.
This special livery not only enhances the airline’s visual presence but also underscores its philanthropic mission as the aircraft takes to the skies, with its first destination being Johannesburg, South Africa. Here, the foundation supports two critical projects, continuing its long-standing tradition of providing aid in areas such as education, healthcare, housing, and more.
The Emirates Airline Foundation, a non-profit organization under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, has supported over 50 projects in 12 countries during its 20-year history. The foundation partners with NGOs and community organizations to deliver essential services to children, regardless of their background or geography.
Projects supported by the foundation range from providing education to thousands of girls in rural India to offering medical care and shelter for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. The foundation also plays a significant role in supporting various initiatives in South America and the Middle East, including its home base in Dubai.
In the past year alone, the foundation has issued over 500 flight tickets to volunteers participating in medical, engineering, and educational missions worldwide, further extending its reach and impact.
The Emirates Airline Foundation’s work is made possible through donations from Emirates customers, employees, and other generous contributors, all aiming to create lasting, sustainable change in the lives of children in need.
