2012-11-03 — /travelprnews.com/ — On Saturday 3 November and Sunday 4 November 2012 a major emergency will be simulated at Belfast City Airport involving the emergency services and other support agencies.
The exercise will simulate a serious incident at the airport.
This type of exercise is run on a regular basis and will happen alongside the normal operations of the airport on that day.
The airport remains open throughout the period of the exercise and passengers, their families and friends will be able to attend and leave the terminal as normal.
There will be an increased emergency services presence at the airport as part of the exercise.
Personnel involved in the exercise will be clearly identified and public notices at the terminal will inform passengers of what is taking place that day.
There will be no media access to the exercise.
