easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has again been voted Best Low-Cost Airline at the prestigious Business Traveller Awards

LONDON, 2014-10-13 — /Travel PR News/ — easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has again been voted Best Low-Cost Airline at the prestigious Business Traveller Awards

easyJet has steadily increased its market share of the business travel market – now one in five of its passengers is travelling for business – thanks to the airline’s leading punctuality and unrivalled network of primary airports as well as a number of product enhancements.

Anthony Drury, Head of Business for easyJet, collected the award. Commenting on the win he said:

“We are really pleased to have won the Best Low-Cost Airline Award as it is judged by key players in the business travel industry and to be recognised for the ninth consecutive year is testament to how hard we work to continually improve our passengers’ experience and evolve our product and network.

“We continue to deliver on the strategy we launched in 2010 to increase our appeal to the business travel sector. Enhancements including allocated seating, Inclusive fares and Fast Track Security have all played a part in enabling easyJet to attract more business passengers.”

The airline’s low fares, industry-leading punctuality and friendly service across Europe’s leading network have all been important factors in helping the airline to both attract and retain new business customers.

easyJet was one of the first in the low cost sector to make its inventory available to business travel bookers through GDS partners in 2007. The GDS partnerships easyJet has built have meant it has been able to successfully grow its presence in the business travel market. The airline has also signed a large number of corporate contracts in the past two years.

The airline operates the leading European network flying on more of the top 100 routes than any other airline.
