2013-04-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dusit Thani Manila’s Tosca the Italian Grill stages a night of theatrical pleasures on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

Join us for an evening inspired by Giacomo Puccini’s dramatic opera “La Tosca”. In Puccini’s famous opera, Floria Tosca sings “Vissi d’arte, vissi d’amore” or living for art and love.

You, too, can experience the same passion for gastronomy as Executive Chef Christian Werdenberg orchestrates a 5-course Northern Italian dinner. The set menu features an intense line up of these savory Italian dishes: New style “Vitello tomato”, Slow roasted veal tenderloin on tuna sauce, Toscana style white bean soup with sautéed scampi tail, Risotto with smoked scamorza, Sorbeto, Grilled beef medallion “alla cacciatore”, Gratinated pasta and asparagus, and Chilled sabayon with marinated oranges served with a variety of Bolla wines.

Priced at PHP 2,500 net per person, the opera dinner promises a pleasurable evening for all, with guest tenors from the University of the Philippines who will perform light arias and Broadway classics live.

Tosca Italian Grill, home of bestselling seafood and steak dishes plus award-winning wine collections is located at the Mezzanine level of Dusit Thani Manila. For tickets and reservations, call 238-8888.
