2013-03-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Come Earth Hour on Saturday, March 23, the world will dazzle with its natural beauty.
An annual event aimed to promote active participation in saving the planet, the Earth Hour takes place
Join Dusit Thani Manila as we celebrate Earth Hour by switching off lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The choir of the Philippine National School for the Blind (PNSN) will serenade guests and visitors with their songs of hope, unity and change at the lobby; their own way of helping the environment. The first 150 in-house and dining guests will also receive seedlings as special tokens.
Dusit Thani Manila is an avid supporter of this movement, implementing the monthly Dusit Green Hour, where our in-house guests are encouraged to switch off their lights for an hour. Lights in the restaurants will also be dimmed as a conscious effort to conserve energy and resources.
Taking it a notch higher, we are taking on the “I will if you will” campaign, a creative environmental challenge initiated by the Earth Hour Organization.
Dusit Thani Manila will give a 30% discount on rooms via Dusit Best Rate, a la carte treatments at Devarana Spa and for dinner at Basix, Benjarong, Tosca and Umu every last Saturday of the month, if you will turn off your lights at home every last Saturday of the month too.
Are you up to the challenge? Will you dare to save the planet with Dusit Thani Manila?
