The opening ceremony was officiated by Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam, Governor of Melaka, and attended by dignitaries including Her Excellency Ms Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, and Mr Mohamad Bukhari bin Che Man, Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC), State of Melaka. With visitor arrivals to Melaka surging past 15 million in 2024 – a 74% year-on-year increase – Dusit Princess Melaka is perfectly timed to meet growing demand from both business and leisure travellers.
