Dubai Airports and McDonald’s UAE officially opened the region’s largest McDonald’s airport restaurant in Dubai International

Dubai, UAE, 2017-Nov-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Dubai Airports and McDonald’s UAE, the leading foodservice retailer, today cut the red ribbon and officially opened the region’s largest McDonald’s airport restaurant in concourse B at Dubai International (DXB).

The new restaurant is designed with the customer in mind, reflecting Dubai Airports’ ongoing mission to transform the airport experience. Every day more than 230,000 people travel through DXB, each with their own individual needs; Dubai Airports is focussed on addressing consumer trends and transforming traveller expectations.

For a family wishing to relax while little one’s tuck into a Happy Meal, a business traveller looking to get through some emails with a signature Clubhouse burger during a short layover or perhaps an intrepid traveller wanting to catch up with family and friends through social media and a McArabia before getting on the next flight, the zone seating means there is an area for all. The new McDonald’s UAE restaurant boasts 16 self-ordering kiosks where customers can tailor their order and even a table service option adding to the ease and fluidity of the 675sqm concourse B restaurant.

An enhanced McDonald’s restaurant is just one of several measures that have transformed Dubai International’s passenger experience. These include a free movie service with ICFLIX, an ongoing art initiative artDXB, Early Birds discounts of up to 25%, the first Jones the Grocer in an airport and a new sleep lounge ‘sleep ‘n fly’, with many other major projects in the pipeline

This restaurant can be found in DXB Terminal 3, B-Gates, and is one of five McDonald’s at the airport.
