HONG KONG, 2015-8-19 — /Travel PR News/ — The launch of Dragonair flights between Hong Kong and Hiroshima was celebrated with a special ceremony held at Hiroshima Airport on Sunday, 16 August before the departure of the first KA351 service to Hong Kong.
The ceremony was organised by the Hiroshima Prefecture Airport Promotion Committee and officiated by Hironori Takagaki, Deputy Hiroshima Governor. Representing Dragonair and the Cathay Pacific Group were Dane Cheng, Director Sales & Marketing, and Clarence Tai, General Manager Japan.
Hiroshima becomes Dragonair’s fourth destination in Japan, joining Tokyo (Haneda), Fukuoka and Okinawa in the airline’s network. With this new twice-weekly service, Dragonair and its sister airline Cathay Pacific operate a total of 152 flights a week between Hong Kong and eight destinations across Japan.
