(IN SHORT) dnata has announced three major cargo facility investments in Amsterdam, Erbil, and Dubai totaling over US$ 110 million, each designed to deliver scalable automation, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced operational efficiency. Launching in 2025, the facilities will expand dnata’s global cargo handling capabilities with features like AGVs, smart gates, ASRS, and cloud-based platforms like OneCargo. As these developments roll out, dnata leadership will also contribute to strategic industry conversations at the World Cargo Symposium in Dubai, covering topics such as digitalisation, AI, and sustainability. In FY 2023–24, dnata handled 2.9 million tonnes of cargo across 90+ airports worldwide.

All three upcoming facilities integrate cutting-edge technologies to minimise manual handling, boost cargo visibility, and support advanced automation systems. Designed with modular and eco-efficient architecture, these projects reinforce dnata’s commitment to long-term operational excellence and environmental responsibility.
“These projects represent a fundamental shift towards greater traceability, performance gains, and operational resilience,” added Sauvé-Hopkins.
