“We are very happy about the developing flight connections in Lapland. Routes with regular scheduled flights are extremely important for Finland’s accessibility and, at Finavia, we are actively working to develop them. This winter’s record-breaking Lapland tourist season provides an excellent starting point for continuing this work in the future,” says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
Discover Airlines (formerly Eurowings Discover) is a German leisure airline and part of the Lufthansa Group. The route from Frankfurt to Kittilä is the airline’s first route in Finland.
