Vancouver, BC, 2012-11-15 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dine Out Vancouver Festival is just a few months away, and the kitchen’s already cookin’. Local chefs are dreaming up tantalizing prix fixe menus, hotels are crafting culinary-themed packages and festival organizers are working madly on an events roster that’s guaranteed to be the best in Dine Out history.

Festival dates: January 18 to February 3, 2013.
Menus: Three-course, prix fixe menus priced at $18, $28 and $38 (suggested BC VQA wine pairings courtesy of Wines of British Columbia available at additional cost). Restaurant menus will be revealed and reservations open on January 7 (advance reservations for American Express cardholders open on January 3).
Hotels: Participating hotels will offer rooms priced at $78, $108 and $138 per night. Keep an eye out for special Dine Out packages, too.
Key Events: A blend of old favourites (such as Street Food City; Plated & Paired at the Public Market; Secret Supper Soirée; and Act I, Eat 1) and new additions like The Grape Debate (a lively wine debate with B.C. wine tastings); Tea Cocktails & Tapas (tea-infused cocktail class paired with tasty tapas at the Urban Tea Merchant); and an experiential Speaker Series at Edible Canada on Granville Island (taste cheese, wine, beer, bitters and more under the guidance of a local expert). Tourism Vancouver is excited to work on these inventive accoutrements with an array of local partners, including Vancouver FanClub, the Urban Tea Merchant, Vancouver Urban Winery, Edible Canada, Swallow Tail Tours, UBC Alumni Affairs and others.

Presented by Tourism Vancouver, Dine Out Vancouver Festival is a city-wide celebration of eating out, attracting tens of thousands of local and visiting foodies to Vancouver’s exceptionally diverse collection of restaurants for 17 days.
