Deutsche Hospitality appoints Norbert Speth as Vice President Corporate Strategy & Openings

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2021-Jan-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Norbert Speth has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President Corporate Strategy & Openings at Deutsche Hospitality with effect from 1 February 2021. Mr. Speth, who has also worked at InterContinental and Marriott, will be responsible in future for the pooling and development of strategic initiatives and will also take charge of the Future Openings Division. From 2017 onwards, the 42-year old was Area Director of Operations at SV Hotel AG.

We are delighted to welcome him to the DH Family and are looking forward to working with him as we continue to pursue the objectives Deutsche Hospitality has set itself.” Norbert Speth will report directly to Marcus Bernhardt in future.

After completing vocational education and training as a cook at the Hotel Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn, Mr. Speth started his career as a Restaurant & Bar Manager for the US-based lifestyle chain W (Starwood). He subsequently advanced to Director of Food and Beverage roles in Germany and Switzerland for InterContinental and Marriott respectively. In 2014, Marriott International appointed him to the post of General Manager of the Residence Inn München City Ost und Courtyard Zurich Ost hotels. Mr. Speth’s most recent role was as Area Director of Operations at SV Hotel AG, where he was also a member of the Management Board.
