Steigenberger Ras Soma five-star Luxury Resort on the east coast of Egypt opened on 1 April 2021
Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2021-Apr-08 — /Travel PR News/ — A new Steigenberger on the shores of the Red Sea launched on 1 April 2021, when the Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma opened for business. The five-star resort is located on Egypt’s east coast 55 kilometres from Hurghada and will offer 409 rooms and suites which have been fitted out to an exceptionally high standard. There will also be three Royal Suites with their own dedicated swim-up pool. Four luxury beachfront villas, each housing two or three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private pool, ensure that guests will be able to enjoy a luxurious stay right next to the beach. Five restaurants and four bars serving up culinary specialities from all over the world, a state-of-the art spa and a diverse range of leisure activities all add to the feel-good concept.

Local and international cuisine
The Kahramana, serving breakfast in the mornings as well as Mediterranean food in the evenings, is the hotel’s main restaurant and culinary centrepiece. The specialty restaurant Benisuma concentrates on authentic Japanese teppanyaki and sushi as well as Indonesian and Thai cuisine. The restaurant Arabesque focuses on oriental and Lebanese cookery and boasts a large selection of mezze and of dishes from the Levant. Fish and seafood, Italian specialities, tapas, and cocktails can all be found at the Maya Beach Restaurant. Guests wishing to savour drinks and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere can make their way to the Aqua Pool Bar and the Safari Lobby Bar & Lounge. The Steigenberger Ras Soma even has its own Shisha Bar to complement the culinary diversity that is available at the resort.
Private beach, spa and Safe Travels
The Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma is situated right on Soma Bay with direct access to a private sandy beach and to a multitude of different water sports including diving, kite surfing, stand-up paddling and sailing. The hotel also has its own tennis courts, gym, and child-friendly facilities. The Midivaspa offers saunas, steam baths, a jacuzzi, quiet zones and health and beauty treatments.
The Steigenberger Ras Soma has also embraced the “Safe Travels by Deutsche Hospitality” concept, a group-wide hygiene and safety approach that guarantees a secure holiday at the very highest level.
The Steigenberger Ras Soma is the latest representative of Deutsche Hospitality’s luxury brand to open on the east coast of Egypt on the Red Sea.
