Description:  The 13th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale features 80 exhibitors from across the U.S., Canada and Europe presenting decorative and fine arts from all movements of 20th century design including furniture, lighting, sculpture, paintings, jewelry, silver, glass, ceramics, photography, textiles, posters, prints, rugs, and vintage clothing and accessories. Weekend admission is $20, tickets available at the door and good for all 3 days.

The annual Palm Springs Modernism Week is scheduled for February 14-24, 2013, featuring more than 100 events including architectural tours, films, book signings, and film screenings, as well as chic galas and tours of mid-century modern homes.

Palm Springs is home to a large number of artists, galleries, rare art exhibits and collections. Journey along the palm-tree lined streets of Palm Canyon Drive and experience several galleries in downtown as well as the Palm Springs Art Museum. Visitors can also meet local artists at VillageFest, a free weekly festival held on Thursday evenings or visit over a dozen artist working studios at the Backstreet Art District.

Palm Springs celebrates its Mid-Century Modernist roots with hip and eclectic boutiques and galleries in the burgeoning Uptown Design District, where you’ll find everything from vintage jewelry to retro furniture to fine art exhibits.
