WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont., 2013-06-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts will host the “Cabineering Cook-off presented by Pepsi” contest July 17 to celebrate the opening of its new Explorer Cabins (SM) in West Yellowstone, Mont.
Contestants may submit an original recipe, which must be created using only the appliances offered at Explorer Cabins and Pepsi or Diet Pepsi as an ingredient. The dish must be made in thirty minutes or less. Recipes, along with a photo or video of the creation, will be accepted starting June 25 through July 1. Participants must “like” the “Visit Yellowstone Park” Facebook page to enter their submissions.
Three finalists will be selected and flown, along with three of family members, to West Yellowstone to prepare their recipes for a panel of judges. The winner will have his or her recipe added to the Branch Restaurant and Bar menu, located at Explorer Cabin’s sister hotel, Holiday Inn West Yellowstone. In addition, the winner will receive a trip for four to Delaware North-operated Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Details are available in the official contest rules.
Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone, a 50-cabin property, is scheduled to open July 1 and provide a unique vacation experience by combining several lodging movements, including cabineering, “generational travel” and dog-friendly travel.
Cabineering (SM) is a new lodging service offered by Delaware North Companies in West Yellowstone that provides the comforts of home and the perks of a hotel for adventurous travelers in remote areas.
