Conrad Macao Adds Plush to ‘Pink Revolution’

Luxury hotel ‘thinks pink’ to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer

MACAO – 2012-10-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — Conrad Macao, Cotai Central will be launching a series of ‘pink experiences and collectibles’ from October 1, till November 30, 2012, in support of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution. This is an annual breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign, which will be held in October in line with the global initiative of the same name. Conrad Macao will donate part of its sales proceeds to the Cancer Fund, toward its free and ongoing breast cancer support services, and its valuable research undertaken in Hong Kong.  The Pink Revolution enjoys tremendous support and awareness in Hong Kong and Conrad Macao endeavours to bring the same level of awareness of this worthy cause to the city through its support and activities.

“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Hong Kong and is also high on the list in Macao, with both mature and younger women being vulnerable regardless. As a luxury hotel, we are fortunate to be surrounded by many caring and charitable team members, management and guests, with whom together we are proud to support the Pink Revolution, helping to raise both awareness of breast cancer and funds to support the services offered by the Cancer Fund,” says General Manager Troy Hickox. “We will be introducing a number of activities including our own Pink Friday and Pink Party fund-raiser for team members; adding touches of pink to decorations around the hotel; and most importantly, Conrad Macao will be donating part of the sales proceeds of specially-designed limited edition pink versions of our iconic Conrad Bear and Conrad Duck, a Pink Afternoon Tea experience, and a tailored Pink & Plush suite package – all to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, hoping that it will help make a difference to the work of this cancer support organisation and further increase the awareness of breast cancer in the wider community.”

The series of limited-time pink collectibles and experiences to be launched by October 1 at Conrad Macao include:
