Confederation of Passenger Transport: Northern Bus Summit – 2 December 2015 in Manchester, England

The triennial Bus Summit organisedby the Confederation of Passenger Transport in the north of England has become an established part of the bus industry calendar.

LONDON, 2015-10-26 — /Travel PR News/ — The timing of the 2015 Summit being held on 2 December in Manchester is of particular importance given the Government’s devolution proposals to allow local authorities to bring forward proposals to operate local bus services under a franchised regime.

This is one of the key topics for discussion at this high profile event which will include a wide range of key speakers from the bus industry, local authority organisations, passenger interests, and the Government.

Howard Farrall, Chair of CPT North Western Region and Area Managing Director, Arriva Merseyside said: “One thing is clear. The way local bus services are delivered is going to change.  By attending the Northern Bus Summit on 2 December, you will have a unique opportunity to hear from an impressive line-up of senior figures involved in this important debate.”

A Summit brochure including details of the event and full list of speakers is available below.

Bookings are being taken until 27 November 2015.
