Complimentary Ocean-Front Yoga Classes Offered at the Makena Beach & Golf Resort

The resort has partnered with Juliet Lee to bring an oceanfront health and fitness program to Makena. The program offers oceanfront yoga classes every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:00 AM on the resort’s Pacific Lawn. The classes are free for all registered resort guests and joins an expansive list of complimentary recreational activities made available at Makena.

Each class looks to provide resort guests with a low impact and non-rigorous way to improve their health and fitness during their Makena stay. Each Tuesday class focuses on Tai Chi a non-impact therapeutic exercise that includes breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques to energize, boost immunity and normalize blood pressure. Each Thursday class will explore Pilates; a class designed to build strong core and lower back muscles, while enhancing muscular symmetry, body alignment, strength and flexibility. Taught by Maui instructor Juliet Lee, Lee has over 20 years of yoga instruction experience, and served as a past instructor for the Four Seasons Resort & Spa and the Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea.
