If you fancy working at the airport, your best chance to do so is a few days away.
Christchurch, New Zealand, 2022-Aug-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Like a number of airports across the world, Christchurch Airport is hosting a Job Fair, to help more than 20 employers on campus fill hundreds of vacancies.
With travel rapidly increasing after the disruptions of the previous two years, the need exists for more staff across the many businesses that keep the airport running smoothly.
On Saturday August 27, more than 250 jobs will be on offer in companies including airline, border agencies, hospitality, retail and rental cars. The aim is to connect people directly with employees at a one day hiring event to give people the opportunity to see and hear what roles are available.
Justin Watson, Chief Aeronautical and Commercial Officer says there’s a lot of great opportunities across the campus.
“There are more than 250 different companies employing more than 6000 people on the airport, so there’s plenty of opportunities to consider,” he says. ”
