Paris, France 2021-Sep-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Having observed increased consumer confidence in the French market through encouraging domestic leisure travel in July and August, Choice Hotels EMEA has this week attended the Franchise Expo Paris and Global Lodging Forum, both held in Paris, to meet with franchisees and focus on growth in the market.
Commenting on the growth focus in the region, Choice Hotels EMEA CEO, Jonathan Mills said: “We are pleased to have been at the Franchise Expo and Global Lodging Forum in Paris this week as we focus on growing in the market alongside continuing to support our franchisees and anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
“France remains an important growth market for us, and in line with industry predictions of a faster domestic recovery, stimulating domestic French travel is our priority and focus.
“We are starting to see promising signs of returning consumer confidence and, whilst recognising the impact COVID-19 continues to have on the hospitality industry at large, domestic leisure travel in France throughout July and August was encouraging as customers started to travel again.
“We hope consumer confidence will continue to grow into the winter months as travellers become increasingly comfortable to travel. We are committed to being proactive in shaping the future for all our franchisees, especially during this important recovery period.
