China Airlines to Offer Daily Flights to Auckland Starting October 28

2012-08-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — China Airlines will extend its Taipei-Sydney roundtrip service to Auckland on October 28 based on its optimism over New Zealand’s tourism market and ties between Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia. China Airlines will add four weekly flights to Auckland to its Taipei-Sydney route (CI051/CI052). Combined with the existing three weekly Taipei-Brisbane-Auckland flights (CI053/CI054), China Airlines will offer daily flights between Taipei and Auckland, giving customers more options and convenience.

Taiwan citizens can travel to New Zealand without a visa. Since China Airlines launched Taipei-Brisbane-Auckland service (CI053/CI054) on January 1, 2011, average passenger load factor has topped 80%, boosting tourism between Taiwan and New Zealand. The new service expands China Airlines’ flight network in Oceania, and gives passengers greater flexibility with their itineraries. In addition, it also enhances convenience for European and Asian passengers transferring from Taipei to New Zealand and Australia, strengthening Taiwan’s position as an air transport hub.

Taipei-Sydney-Auckland flights will depart from Taipei every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The roundtrip flights will be serviced by Airbus A330-300 aircraft equipped with 30 Business Class seats and 277 Economy Class seats.
