CDA welcomes United Airlines’ new Chicago O’Hare International Airport 2018 summer schedule

CHICAGO, 2017-Nov-22 — /Travel PR News/ — United Airlines today announced it will add nonstop daily service from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to two new destinations next spring including El Paso, Texas and Wilmington, North Carolina, as well as seasonal service to Fresno, California for the summer of 2018. In addition to the new flights, United announced it will optimize its ORD schedule to provide shorter connection times and more options for customers connecting through Chicago.

“New service in 2018 to these popular U.S. destinations is great news for Chicago and for O’Hare travelers,” said Ginger S. Evans, Commissioner, Chicago Department of Aviation. “O’Hare is the world’s best connected airport, providing passengers with the most options for travel to destinations around the globe.”

Flights from ORD to El Paso (ELP) and ORD to Wilmington (ILM) will begin April 9, 2018 with two daily nonstop flights. The new seasonal daily service between ORD and Fresno (FAT) will launch on June 7, 2018. With United’s new summer flights to FAT, more customers will have easier access to popular outdoor destinations like Yosemite National Park.

Beginning February 2018, United will initiate a newly enhanced bank structure at O’Hare that will mean shorter connection times and better access to more destinations for customers connecting through its Chicago hub. United says this operations enhancement will enable the airline to greatly improve connectivity throughout its global route network.
