CHICAGO, 2018-Jul-10 — /Travel PR News/ — The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) will be one of 120 exhibitors at the 2018 Vendor Fair on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 12-4 p.m. at the UIC Forum. This annual event is hosted by members of the Government Procurement Compliance (GPC) Forum, which is administered by the City’s Department of Procurement Services, and will provide businesses the opportunity to learn about contracting opportunities with the City of Chicago including its two airports O’Hare and Midway, its Sister Agencies, Cook County Agencies, and State and Federal agencies.

The CDA will host a workshop entitled “Propelling Your Business though Aviation Opportunities” from 2 – 2:45 p.m. This workshop will focus on aviation-specific contracting opportunities in construction and professional work services.
The CDA is currently overseeing two major capital infrastructure programs at O’Hare and Midway International Airports – O’Hare 21 and the Midway Modernization Program. As these programs prepare O’Hare and Midway to take off with added capacity and modern infrastructure, they will also create new jobs and opportunities for businesses of all sizes and specialties over the next decade.
