2012-08-09 — /travelprnews.com/ — Cathay Pacific Airways today (Thursday, 9 August) announced that it has resumed scheduled operations to and from Shanghai since the weather is improving and wind speeds are within operational limits.
Cathay Pacific is operating a full schedule of flights to and from Shanghai today. However, minor delays are expected due to the air traffic management at the airports during the recovery process. The airline apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and wishes for passengers’ understanding.
The airline advises passengers to check the latest flight information on Cathay Pacific website, www.cathaypacific.com, before departing to the airport. To ensure passengers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or e-mail, they are advised to update contact details in “Manage My Booking” at the airline’s website.
Cathay Pacific has waived re-booking and re-routing charges for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 7 August for travel on Cathay Pacific to, from or via Shanghai between 7 and 10 August.
The airline thanks passengers for their patience over the past few days.
