Olympic Valley, Calif., 2016-Aug-03 — /Travel PR News/ — Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows announced today that Casey Blann will be joining the team as Vice President of Mountain Operations at Alpine Meadows. In addition to managing operations at Alpine Meadows, Blann will oversee Risk Management and Loss Prevention across the enterprise at both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Blann possesses 35 years of management experience at resorts across the Tahoe region, including Heavenly Mountain Resort, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort and most recently Kirkwood Mountain Resort.

Blann has a demonstrated commitment to snow quality, with decades of snowmaking and grooming management experience to apply as Vice President of Mountain Operations at Alpine Meadows, and he steps into the resort-wide Risk Management and Loss Prevention role with extensive practice leading multi-resort safety initiatives at Vail Resorts. He will report directly to the President and CEO of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings.
