2012-11-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — It is business as usual at the Rendezvous Hotel Brisbane Anzac Square after a part of the ceiling collapsed after a huge storm hit Brisbane CBD on Saturday.
Excessive rain water caused the ceiling over the Reception area to collapse, causing a loss of power and some flooding on the ground floor.
No guests or staff were injured or at any risk during the incident and shortly after the storm, most power was restored.
A clean-up operation has taken place and the Hotel is operating as normal.
A temporary Reception desk is now operational and all guest rooms are functioning as normal.
“Anyone planning to stay with us in the coming days can be reassured we will be able to provide the same high level of service they have come to expect from the Rendezvous Hotel Brisbane Anzac Square,” Mr Justin Philip, Area General Manager said.
