Bus operator First in Scotland shortlisted for ten prizes at this year’s Scottish Transport Awards

Aberdeen, Scotland, 2014-04-8 — /Travel PR News/ — Bus operator, First in Scotland, today confirmed that it has been shortlisted for ten prizes at this year’s Scottish Transport Awards – a record for the company.

First Aberdeen has been shortlisted for five awards including ‘Public Transport Operator of the Year’.  First Glasgow has three nominations, First Scotland East has one, while First’s mobile app, available to customers of all three companies, has been shortlisted in the ‘Excellence in Travel Information and Innovation’ category.

Regional Managing Director of First in Scotland, Neil Barker, said: “I’m delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for so many awards.  It reflects the hard work and commitment across our three businesses to improve services and encourage more people on to our buses.

The Scottish Transport Awards will take place June 19 in Glasgow.
