WITH THE ADDITION OF A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH PLAAY? LUXURY WOODEN TOYS
London, UK, 2021-Aug-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Brown’s is delighted to launch a new children’s afternoon tea alongside further enhanced family dining options such as a special children’s picnic and a new ‘Family Feast’ menu. Families will also be able to experience a new London itinerary that is exclusive to Brown’s, which has been perfectly curated to explore famous corners of the city whilst ensuring little ones are kept entertained along the way.
This autumn marks the introduction of a new ‘Alby’ toy collaboration for Brown’s. Owner and Founder, Ben Sharman, of UK start-up Plaay? Luxury Wooden Toys, has designed and created a bespoke monkey for his boutique collection of nine wooden toys. Exclusive to families at Brown’s, ‘Alby’ – the wooden toy monkey is handmade from solid FSC approved Oak from Switzerland. Its bespoke features include a soft brown leather tail and velvety tanned ears. With its kind eyes and generous size nose, Alby is sure to bring a smile to children’s faces – and adults too.
JUNGLE BOOK AFTERNOON TEA
Children have the opportunity to play ‘grown ups’ with their parents whilst experiencing Brown’s award-winning afternoon tea; with a special Jungle Book inspired twist, fit for any King or Queen of the jungle. Parents will be able to treat their little ones to a playful and imaginative tea filled with delicious delights such as Brown’s creamy hot chocolate, classic finger sandwiches, growling tiger lollipops, jungle juice milkshakes and homemade plain and chocolate chip scones.
For children who wish to continue this magical journey at home, parents can purchase a special edition of Rudyard Kipling’s book which was famously penned at the hotel.
ALBY’S PICNIC
Surrounded by five, leafy royal parks and with new public access to Buckingham Palace Gardens, an autumnal picnic in London should be on all families’ agenda over half term before the winter months approach. The talented team at Charlie’s have crafted a delicious array of picnic menus to suit all tastes in honour of iconic British events including ‘Henley’, ‘Wimbledon’, ‘Ascot’ as well as spoiling vegetarian option ‘Green Park’. Impeccably curated for children is ‘Alby’s Picnic’, brimming with sumptuous goodies from homemade Chocolate Oreo brownie to a Teddy Bear cake pot.
CHILDREN’S ITINERARY
The concierge team at Brown’s has designed a brand new, tailor-made itinerary for families wishing to explore the capital. The itinerary ticks all boxes and features experiences such as feeding the famous pelicans at nearby St James Park (a bag of goodies is provided by the concierge), witnessing the Horse Guards Parade and visiting beautiful Buckingham Palace. Families can also enjoy a paddle boat along Hyde Park’s Serpentine, or even try horse riding lessons through the sprawling park. Back on the streets, Hamleys and the kids’ floor at Selfridges are not to be missed.
After a day of exploring the landmarks, little ones can enjoy a pamper session alongside their parents at Brown’s spa with its charming child-friendly treatments including the ‘funky fingers’ manicures and ‘Made for Life’ softening facials and massages. Moving to the evening, families will be able to indulge in the comfort of their room or suite with a new ‘Family Feast’ menu available 24 hours a day.
Plaay Luxury Wooden Toy ‘ALBY’ Monkey is gifted on a complimentary basis to all families who book a suite at Brown’s Hotel. ‘ALBY’ Monkey can be purchased via the front office team for £95.00
About Plaay? Luxury Wooden Toys
Plaay? is a luxury wooden toy business based in the UK. Currently stocked in Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Dragons of Walton Street and Trotters. The idea began following the birth of owner Ben’s, third child Parker, after realising a gap in the market for high-end luxury wooden toys for consumers looking for alternative gifting specifically targeted for special occasional gifting which currently is dominated by pottery and silverware, this determined, Ben created a line of heirloom luxury wooded toys that are elegant, simple and ooze quality.
Three years of development, testing and encouragement from friends and family, resulted in a range of designs being brought to life. Ben eventually concluded on nine designs for the launch with a mix of traditional themed characters all with a luxury contemporary finish. All products are handmade from solid Oak, all have their own unique design aspects and bespoke features such as soft-touch fabrics, leather materials, calming and realistic colour tones with the iconic plaay? logo engraving. Overall, a unique range of toys that are special, created with love and passion that can be enjoyed and pass through family generations for years to come.
