2012-09-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra-low cost airline, today (10th Sept) called on the British Government and its civil servants to follow the cost saving example of Spanish politicians after the President of Valencia (Alberto Fabra) instructed govt workers to cut costs by flying with low fare airlines – and Ryanair’s fares are the lowest.
Ryanair is the only airline in Europe to guarantee the lowest fares and as civil servants have a duty to minimise spending on work-related travel, public representatives must choose Ryanair’s low fares which deliver the added advantages of the most on-time flights and the fewest cancelations and mishandled bags.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
“Ryanair’s low fares will be enjoyed by over 79 million ordinary consumers this year. Only Ryanair can deliver the lowest fares coupled with industry leading customer service delivery and we commend the President of Valencia for instructing government employees to fly on the lowest fares – which are only available on www.ryanair.com. With austerity and budget tightening now the focus of every EU state it is time that more governments followed the lead of the President of Valencia.
With Ryanair fares starting from just €16, civil servants can slash the amount of taxpayer money they waste each year on high cost, frequently delayed, airlines and spend that money instead on much needed hospitals and schools.”
