British Airways launches promotion which halves the number of Avios needed to book reward flights to over 90 long-haul destinations
LONDON, UK, 2018-Jun-02 — /Travel PR News/ — British Airways is offering customers the chance to fly to over 90 long-haul destinations for half the amount of Avios normally required.
For a limited time, the number of Avios required to book reward flights in the World Traveller economy cabin to or from Heathrow or Gatwick has been slashed. This means that customers can pick up return flights to destinations like Bermuda for 13,000 Avios, Seychelles for 16,250 and Hong Kong for 19,500, paying a cash amount on top of this to cover taxes, fees and carrier charges.
To take advantage of the sale, customers must book before June 17 2018, and travel between September 1 2018 and May 31 2019 in the World Traveller economy cabin.
James Hillier from the British Airways Executive Club, said: “Our Executive Club Members appreciate a range of ways to collect and spend Avios so it’s great to be launching this promotion which makes reward flights even more accessible. This means that customers can go sandboarding in Dubai, spot stars in Los Angeles or visit Singapore’s Orchard Road for half the number of Avios normally required.”
The reduced Avios needed to book will appear automatically when booking flights. Full details, including complete terms and conditions, can be seen by visiting: ba.com/reward-flight-sale.
Executive Club members can easily check where reward flight seats are available across British Airways’ network via ba.com.
