Bristol Airport welcomes easyJet’s first ever flight from Bristol to Athens

Bristol, England, 2017-Nov-08 — /Travel PR News/ — easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, has launched its first ever flight from Bristol to Athens.

The new route to another European capital is part of Bristol’s ongoing expansion, including the first easyJet flight to Stockholm last Monday. The airline’s biggest base outside of London now flies to 65 destinations with 13 aircraft.

easyJet’s Bristol crew are excited to operate this year-round route from Bristol to Athens, twice per week on the Airbus A320. Bristol passengers can now enjoy one of Europe’s most beautiful and historical capital cities, with fares staring from just £26.49 one way.

Greece’s capital is rich with history, and home to the magnificent Acropolis. As well as learning about ancient Greece, tourists can eat, drink, shop and explore in Athens. The new route from Bristol to Greece’s global city also provides for business travellers.

easyJet opened the Bristol base over 15 years ago, and since then has flown more than 49.8 million passengers. The airline continues to grow and expand in Bristol, while offering low-fares and friendly customer service.
