Brand new A330 aircraft “L.Kantorovitch” was set in operation by Aeroflot

MOSCOW, 2012-12-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — On December 17, 2012 Aeroflot took delivery of A330-300 airplane made by Airbus. The aircraft is named in honor of Leonid V. Kantorovitch, a prominent Russian mathematician, economist and one of linear programming inventors.

Now Aeroflot fleet counts 22 A330 family long haul aircraft. «L.Kantorovitch» A330 is one of eleven A330-300 ordered by Aeroflot from Airbus in 2010.

All A330-300 aircraft are received by Aeroflot directly from Airbus manufacturing plants. The flight distance with maximum passenger load (296 passengers) is up to 8100 kilometers. The airplanes are equipped with Rolls Roys Trent 772B powerful engines.

A330 «L.Kantorovitch» aircraft has 28 business class seats and 268 economy class seats. All new A330 planes are ready for the installation of the equipment which will provide Aeroflot passengers with in flight Internet access and mobile services. Passengers in all classes aboard A330 aircraft now can enjoy new Panasonic eX2 entertainment program.

The interiors of a new wide bodied A330 aircraft are made in compliance with the highest comfort standards and will satisfy the most sophisticated passengers’ demands. A330 «L.Kantorovitch» is Aeroflot’s 9-th airplane with renewed business class salon equipped with modern Full-Flat seats (model B/E Minipod by B/E Aerospase) providing a recline of 180 degrees and increased seat pitch.
