Sidharth is very much the man of the hour in India where he has a social media following of more than 4.3 million. His new movie, Brothers, was released just last month and he is currently working on two more films.
The A-list actor was born in Mumbai in 1985 and shot to fame when he won ‘Face of the Year’ at an all India modelling agency’s pageant in 2009. Starting his film career in 2012, he has received a Filmfare award for best male debut for his role in a coming of age romantic comedy, ‘Student of the Year’.
Day one – Auckland arrival
Sidharth Malhotra was greeted by excited fans at Auckland International Airport on Sunday October 11. The young Student of the Year actor decided to begin his trip with a bang by walking around the perimeter of Auckland’s tallest building, The Sky Tower which stands at 328 metres tall.
Sadharth had a bird eye’s view of Auckland, its hills, the harbour and the islands beyond. On completing his first-ever adventure activity in New Zealand, he said, “Walking around the Sky Tower, which is the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a better kick-start for my trip, I literally felt like I was living life on the edge. From all my Bollywood friends, I definitely recommend my brother Akshay (Kumar) to do this.”
