Blue Islands resumes Jersey to Birmingham flights

St. Peter Port, Guernsey, 2020-Sep-03 — /Travel PR News/ — Blue Islands flights from Jersey to Birmingham restarted yesterday, with Exeter services resuming today, 1 September. The Blue Islands flights to Birmingham and Exeter will connect with inter-island services from Guernsey once regular flights between the islands resume.

Rob Veron, Blue Islands CEO said, “We are very pleased to reinstate two very popular routes, providing key regional connectivity to and from Jersey. Birmingham services will initially operate four days a week and Exeter three days a week. And for next summer, both will become daily services and are available to book now.”

Rob added, “We are also very happy to be working with Visit Jersey to promote late summer/autumn breaks to Jersey in the UK for these routes as well as our other services from Southampton, Bristol and East Midlands. Creating healthy two-way passenger flows is clearly a mutual benefit and is something we will continue to do.”

Flying with Blue Islands is designed to be as easy as possible. Our base fare, Blue Fly, includes one 23kg luggage allowance as standard. Choose the Blue Plus fare for inclusive 2 x 23kg luggage allowance, complimentary seat allocation, double frequent flyer points and flexibility.

Blue Islands has also introduced an easy to use frequent flyer programme, Blue Skies Club; and for students the airline has recently announced an additional hold luggage allowance for free policy for all Channel Islands students travelling to and from the UK.
