Belfast, Northern Ireland, 2020-Sep-24 — /Travel PR News/ — George Best Belfast City Airport has partnered with Online Travel Training (OTT), the world’s leading provider of free travel courses for travel agents, to launch an e-learning programme centred around updates and developments at the airport.
This free online course will provide travel agents and travel trade representatives with the opportunity to engage with the Belfast City Airport brand, learn about its products and familiarise themselves with positive developments at the Airport including route network, airline partners, car park offerings and enhanced facilities.
Ellie McGimpsey, Aviation Development Manager at Belfast City Airport, said:
“The past six months have had a substantial impact on the travel industry as a whole and undoubtedly brought changes within all our organisations.
“Whilst air traffic movements at Belfast City Airport were halted during the pandemic, our commitment to establishing a robust, convenient route network and ensuring a safe airport experience for our customers did not, and there have been significant developments on both fronts.
“This free course with OTT will bring our travel partners, not just in Northern Ireland but the rest of the UK too, up to speed with the latest route announcements and airport news, and will offer agents the unmissable chance to upskill and increase knowledge around airline offerings, loyalty programmes and passenger products at Belfast City Airport.”
Travel professionals who complete the one-module course by 1st November 2020 will not only receive an industry-recognised certification from OTT but will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win flights to anywhere on the UK route network from Belfast City Airport.
