2012-08-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Autumn WellBeing Fair is due to be held over the weekend of 8th and 9th September 2012 at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Jersey.
Organised by WellBeing World, a membership body with a wide range of 90 wellbeing service provider members, the WellBeing Fair is the third such event to be held since its launch last year.
The WellBeing Fair once again aims to provide something for everyone and will include Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Cosmetic Dental, Exclusive Hotel Spas, Facial Reflexology, Health and Beauty, Holistic Therapies, Nutritional Supplements, Organic Skin Care, Sport and Fitness, Statement Furniture, Music for Relaxation, Weight Management … and much more to relax, energise and make you feel good.
“WellBeing means different things to different people, and can encompass exhilaration, inspiration, relaxation or simply calm and peace of mind. The dictionary definition points to a satisfactory state of health, happiness, prosperity and abundance, and WellBeing World covers all of these things,” commented Founder and Director, Beverley Le Cuirot.
The Autumn WellBeing Fair will also introduce new exhibitors including the Jersey Squash and Racketball Club; Bowen Therapist, Antony Bryant; Fitness Trainer Tori Ducker of Phoenix Fitness and Wellbeing; Chiropractor, Acupuncturist and Ergonomic Assessor, Grant Henderson of the Active Chiropractic Clinic; and Composer/Performer, Simon Dallas-Chapman; along with many other hugely popular local therapists and wellbeing service providers.
It will also feature the music which was created by internationally acclaimed musician, Robert Norton, during the recent WellBeing Festival. Called ‘Waves of Light, Robert Norton Live in Jersey’, the music was originally heard in April by audiences at the WellBeing Fair, the Opera House Studio, and the Jersey Cheshire Home. It has now been made into a CD and £1 from each copy sold at the Fair will be donated to the Jersey Cheshire Home.
A Preview Day will be held on Saturday, 8th September, 11:00 – 18:00, with a mix of exhibitors and a programme of Talks, and the Fair will continue on Sunday, 9th September, 10:00 – 18:00.
The Saturday Preview Day will open to the beautiful sounds of Naomi West, Flutist at 11am, followed by a great line up of Talks:
The Talks are free of charge to attend, although there is a daily entry charge of £3 to the Fair, which is payable on the door (£5 for a Weekend Pass). Children under 12 welcome free of charge.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the response we have received over the last year to our WellBeing events. We would love to see it go on to support the wellbeing of an increasing number of residents of Jersey, as well as the economy both in terms of local employment and also in promoting Jersey as a destination for wellbeing,” added Mrs Le Cuirot.
“Wellbeing is high on the global agenda and Jersey has a role to play in that too.” she said.
