Experience The Sweetest Place on Earth on Bicycle
Hershey, Pa., 2013-02-21 — /travelprnews.com/ — Registration is now open for the third annual Tour de Chocolate Town! On Sunday, May 19, 2013, the Tour will begin in the town dubbed The Sweetest Place On Earth and offer participants the unique opportunity to ride through Hersheypark, past many major Hershey attractions, and ride throughout the surrounding area.
The Tour de Chocolate Town features four different bicycle routes that are designed to appeal to all riding levels. Riders can choose from four courses:
• Beginner: 17.5 mile
• Intermediate: 35 mile
• Advanced: 65 or 100 mile century ride.
The ride will begin with a rolling start from 7:00 a.m. at Hersheypark Stadium.
Entry fee for the Tour de Chocolate Town is $40 and includes a t-shirt and post-tour refreshments. All net proceeds from the ride benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
