Bangkok, Thailand, 2021-Aug-11 — /Travel PR News/ — Due to popular demand and following the success of its dog-friendly ‘Bark & Breakfast’ package launched earlier this year, Avani+ Hua Hin Resort in Thailand is hosting an open-air festival for pooches and their owners. For three days in September, the hip seaside resort located a 2.5-hour drive from Bangkok will turn into a playground for furry guests hungry for fresh air and company.
Taking place on 24-26 September 2021, the event is open to all pups staying at the resort over the weekend. There are multiple accommodation options for guests to choose from, ranging from spacious rooms and suites to plush private villas with dog-friendly swimming pools. With lush gardens and green lawns hugging a lake and multiple swimming pools, Fido and Fluffy will be wagging their tails in delight while out on walkies or when a case of the zoomies strikes. In addition to ample room to roam, Avani+ Hua Hin will have dedicated areas for dogs to do their business.
The high point promises to be the ‘Poochy party’ on Saturday, 25th September, where pets can let loose while their humans tuck into delicious BBQ and browse the stalls at an artisan market of dog-friendly vendors such as 4 Paws & A Pair, Howdy Houndy, PawdyLove, PetFetch, Fairy Tale, Moonies and Binky Barker.
The ‘Doggie Weekend’ experience includes:
“We look forward to hosting cute puppies and what we hope will become an annual event,” said Naowarat Arunkong (Khun Bee), the General Manager at Avani+ Hua Hin Resort. “As a family-friendly resort that also attracts young couples, we know that for many of our guests, travelling without their fur babies. To offer them the best holiday experience, the team has worked hard to create an event that brings dog-lovers together for three days of fun under the sun.”
If early bookings are anything to go by, the festival weekend promises to sell out quickly, so guests are encouraged to reserve their spots early. A non-refundable fee of THB 1,000 per dog per night applies. All dogs weighing 35 kilos or less are well socialised, and up-to-date vaccinations are welcome.
