VIENNA, Austria, 2020-Jan-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Every year, the Holiday Fair in mid-January attracts thousands of visitors to the Vienna Exhibition Centre. This year Austrian Airlines will again be present on site as official airline partner from 16 to 19 January. Under the motto #ServusWorld, the airline will be presenting new destinations at stand 1140 in Hall A and will be offering a number of attractions. This year, attention will also be paid to the topic of sustainability and the possibilities of CO2 compensation for passengers. There are special trade fair offers directly at the fair, as well as online at www.austrian.com and www.austrian.com/holidays.
Booking at trade fair prices – on site and online
The special fair prices are available for charter and scheduled flights. For example, from 359 euros, passengers can fly from Vienna to Montreal, from 399 euros to Los Angeles or from 549 euros to Tokyo – prices are for round trip tickets. Within Europe, there are one-way tickets for 39 euros to many destinations, including Barcelona, Paris, London and Rome. Austrian Holidays also offers holiday flights at special prices: from 59 euros to Italy, from 79 euros to Spain and Greece, and from 159 euros to Iceland (each oneway). The trade fair offers can be booked at the ticket counters on site or online.
Aircraft turbine selfie station, Jetshop and a competition
On more than 200 square meters, visitors to the fair can immerse themselves in the Austrian world. The focus is on the airline’s new destinations: Boston, Rome, Barcelona, Zadar, Birmingham, Nuremberg as well as the new Austrian Holidays connections to Kavala and Samos. There will be an interactive competition on site and online every day to win two tickets to one of the new destinations. This year, the popular aircraft turbine selfie station awaits visitors once again. Travel enthusiasts can also take a seat in the Premium Economy or find out about the latest news at the Miles & More stand directly at the fair. The Austrian Jetshop also offers everything the (travel) heart desires, e.g. model aircraft, suitcases and the Austrian PUMA special edition sneakers. The helium balloons in the form of Austrian airplanes, which are especially popular with children, should not be missing. In 2020, the proceeds from the donations for the balloons will go to the help alliance project iThemba, which supports a school in Cape Town.
