Anantara Siam Celebrates 25 Years of World Gourmet Festival with Global Chefs, Sustainability Leaders, and Exclusive Dining Experiences

Once-in-a-lifetime chef collaborations, Michelin stars, and global gastronomic milestones define Asia’s most anticipated culinary celebration.

(NEWS) BANGKOK, 2025-Aug-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Bangkok is preparing to host a culinary milestone as the 25th Annual World Gourmet Festival returns to Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel from 22–28 September 2025, in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), United Overseas Bank (UOB), Chang, Diageo, Tatler Asia, Turkish Airlines, and Maserati Thailand. This Silver Jubilee edition, curated by internationally renowned culinary strategist Kristian Brask Thomsen, promises to be the festival’s most ambitious gathering yet, uniting global icons, rising stars, and innovators in a week-long celebration of food, artistry, and cultural exchange.

The landmark programme brings together an exceptional lineup of chefs and restaurants from around the world, including 16 Michelin-starred establishments representing a total of 22 stars, four Green Star sustainability pioneers, seven venues featured on The World’s 50 Best and Asia’s 50 Best lists, and multiple globally awarded culinary figures such as Asia’s Best Female Chef, World’s Best Female Chef, and Asia’s Best Pastry Chef. For one week, Bangkok will be transformed into the epicentre of international gastronomy, where cross-cultural collaborations and once-in-a-lifetime dining experiences take centre stage.

Guests can expect a rich schedule, from the signature Gourmet Discovery collaborations that bring together acclaimed chefs for one-time-only menus, to Gourmet Encounters pairing international names with Thai culinary masters, and Gourmet Icons presenting exclusive solo tasting menus. Beyond fine dining, the festival also includes interactive masterclasses, wine and cocktail experiences, panel talks, and an indulgent afternoon tea designed by dessert visionary Janice Wong. The week will open with a glamorous gala in the hotel’s ballroom and close with a celebratory brunch at Parichart Court.

Notable highlights include a six-hands dinner by Eric Vildgaard of three-Michelin-star Jordnær (Copenhagen) alongside Mathias and Thomas Sühring of Bangkok’s two-Michelin-star Sühring, as well as a high-profile collaboration between Thailand’s celebrated chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn (Le Du, Nusara) and New Zealand’s Vaughan Mabee of Amisfield, one of the most talked-about emerging figures in contemporary gastronomy.

With prices ranging from THB 1,800 to THB 18,500, the 25th anniversary edition offers both accessibility and exclusivity, ensuring more guests can experience the festival’s international calibre. For the first time, multiple World’s 50 Best restaurants will present their menus in Thailand within the same week, and sustainability will take the spotlight through Green Star chefs promoting eco-conscious gastronomy. Over the past 25 years, the World Gourmet Festival has welcomed more than 150 Michelin-starred chefs, solidifying Bangkok’s reputation as a global dining capital, and this Silver Jubilee edition is set to reaffirm its standing as one of Asia’s premier culinary events.

Tickets are available at www.worldgourmetfestival.asia, with early bird options for select events, and festival updates can be followed via @worldgourmetfestivalbkk on Instagram.
