Allegiant marks 10 years of service to Tampa / St. Pete via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport

CLEARWATER, Fla., 2016-Nov-07 — /Travel PR News/ — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today celebrates 10 years of ultra-low fare service to Tampa / St. Pete via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). The service has carried more than 8.8 million passengers in and out of the Tampa Bay area. To celebrate the milestone, Allegiant and PIE are hosting a celebration at PIE.

Nearly 430 Allegiant employees are located in the Tampa Bay area, compared to the 46 employees who helped start the airline’s operation at PIE in 2006.
