TOKYO, JAPAN, 2020-Feb-12 — /Travel PR News/ — All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest and 5-Star airline for seven consecutive years, will distribute chocolates to passengers on all Valentine’s Day flights*. The gesture is reflective of ANA’s commitment to personalized service and its desire to go beyond expectations to create the ideal passenger experience, and ANA has marked every Valentine’s Day since 2014 by giving away chocolates.
“At ANA we make every effort to improve travel for our passengers, and that includes focusing on even the most minute details,” said Hideki Kunugi, Executive Vice President of ANA. “Valentine’s Day is a special day, and we wanted to make sure that our passengers knew how much we appreciate that they chose to fly with ANA. We partnered with world-renowned chocolatiers to create custom chocolates to commemorate this special holiday, just one of the many steps we are taking to improve every last detail on each flight.”
First Class and Business Class passengers on international routes to America, Europe and India will receive chocolates from celebrated French chocolatier PIERRE HERMÉ. Created exclusively for ANA, this chocolate is called “ISPAHAN” and it boasts two distinct textures as well as the rich flavors four different kinds of berries (cranberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries). Coated in an additional layer of white chocolate, ISPAHAN chocolates emit a subtle Lychee and strawberry fragrance that complements their robust flavor.
Meiji THE Chocolate’s “Comfort Bitter” will be given to all passengers seated on international flights as well as to all domestic passengers. This chocolate wrapping was also created exclusively for ANA and is made from premium Venezuelan cacao beans which have been roasted at high temperatures in order to bring out their strong natural flavor. This process results in a deep nutty taste that is unique to beans from this region of South America.
While ANA looks forward to providing all passengers with its custom chocolates this Valentine’s Day, distribution service may be cancelled on some flights due to flight conditions.
